Altruist Medical offer a highly specialized and professional solution tailored to meet the high end of the medical recruitment sector. We pride ourselves on our ability to fill those hard to find specialties and to cater for the needs of healthcare organizations in all regions of the UK and Ireland.

Our core business is the recruitment of consultant level doctors but also extends to the recruitment of senior healthcare management positions such as, Clinical Services Directors & Managers, Hospital Service Directors & Managers, HR/Medical Staffing Directors & Managers.

Locum Positions

We have a large database of UK and International Consultants that can cover for all eventualities including short term and long term locums, weekend and evening work, holiday and sickness cover. For longer term locums we endeavour to secure pro rata salaries for our clients whilst also arranging offsite accommodation where possible if this is required by the consultant.

Substantive Positions

We have an ever growing database of both UK and international consultants and healthcare professionals that are interested in substantive positions within the UK healthcare sector. We also have significant experience in headhunting and are highly competent at locating and attracting the highest calibre candidates within the marketplace and not just those who are actively looking for work.

Stringent Internal Recruitment Policy
  • We believe that the most important resource for any organisation is its people, thus we have a very stringent internal recruitment policy. Our service delivery can only be as good as our least experienced member of staff and the standard of our internal recruitment will determine the level of service delivered to our clients. We guarantee that all our recruitment consultants have a minimum of five years industry experience and we will not hire trainees as recruitment consultants. We feel this is essential to ensure the level of professional service that high level candidates and clients expect. This ensures you get relevant candidates, with the right skills who have been thoroughly vetted and are genuinely interested in working for you, as apposed to getting inundated with inappropriate CV’s that waste your time.
A Dedicated Account Manager
  • Regardless of whether your query is regarding a recruitment issue, accounts issue or admin issue you will have a Primary account manager as your main point of contact. We will also allocate a Secondary account manger as an additional point of contact to ensure continuity of service delivery during periods of leave, absence etc. This enables you to get to the bottom of any query instantly allowing you to concentrate your efforts on doing your job.
